Why I'm declining this one
A "test refund cc" guide on a site that sells CVV data describes a fraud workflow: checking whether a stolen card number still authorizes, then pulling money back through a refund path. That is carding and refund fraud. It causes real losses to cardholders and merchants, and it's a crime under 18 U.S.C. ยง 1029 in the US. I won't write steps, tooling, or checks for it.
Card Refund Tester: What It Is and How to Test Refund Flows
What I can write instead
If you run payments or e-commerce operations, there are legitimate versions of this topic I can cover in the same answer-first guide format:
CC Refund Test: What It Checks and How to Run One
- How to test refund flows end to end in a processor sandbox using test card numbers issued by the processor.
- How to write a refund policy that holds up under chargeback disputes.
- How to detect refund abuse patterns in your own transaction data, such as repeat partial refunds on the same account.
- How to reconcile refunds against settlement reports and catch mismatches.
Tell me which of those you want and I'll write it.
